Our Approach

We follow a tried and tested consulting approach to ensure an accurate understanding of your needs:
 

IDENTIFY

Site evaluation and inspection
  • On the first site inspection, we evaluate the equipment list to determine what equipment will be included under our scope of services.
  • We conduct an inspection to evaluate the general condition of the equipment. A photo library of onsite equipment is created and a preliminary report is developed, identifying potential problems and areas in need of services.

ANALYSE

Equipment and asset register
  • ABMS will confirm the client equipment and asset register (when up-to-date).
  • We can also compile a new equipment list using QR code technology, providing equipment make, model, serial numbers (age of equipment) and replacement value.
  • Assets and equipment are re-labelled using QR coding to identify asset numbers and confirm that the asset forms part of ABMS scope of services.
  • We analyse the running cost of equipment and confirm the number of running hours per equipment piece.
  • As a value added service, ABMS will review the power factors and transformer settings on client equipment.

RECOMMEND AND IMPLEMENT

Quotations
  • Our quotations provide a thorough cost breakdown for repair work, including any additional work required to bring the unit to 100% operation or to optimise the efficiency of the unit.
Service contract options
  • ABMS provides both manned and unmanned building service options. These options provide our clients with alternatives pertaining to call-out fees.
Budgeting
  • Following the equipment analysis, ABMS will propose a 4-year budget for the purpose of equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • ABMS can also structure a budget for equipment replacement and assist clients to prioritise expenditure, by making recommendations on emergency repairs required.
Budget Management
  • Following the approval of the proposed building budget, ABMS manages the approved monthly programme according to prioritised work and other repair service work.
